Seasons

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (ESV):

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

Since moving to Virginia, I’ve been told the weather here is highly unpredictable. Today was one of those unpredictable days with the temperature being 67°. Outside playing ball with Jack, I noticed the gray hues in the sky on this misty, rainy day. I love days like these because I find beauty in them. With the clouds swirling and the trees swaying, there is a different kind of beauty than what I see on sunny, cloudless days. I was reminded of the seasons of life and that there is beauty through all seasons. Life doesn’t always promise “good” days or seasons. Times are often difficult. But God is with us through each and every day. There is joy in each day and many things for which to be thankful.
