Mark 10:13-16 (ESV):
13 And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 15 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” 16 And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.
Gage is our grandson! He’s five years old and in Mrs. K’s Kindergarten class. Last week, he broke his arm in two places when he fell off the monkey bars at school. Today, he got his cast-yellow, for Pikachu and Batman. It’s even water proof. It’s amazing what medicine can do these days! Our grand kids are growing up so fast! When Gage was little, he used to point up to the sky with his tiny finger and tell us that Jesus was up in heaven. We are very grateful he has parents who love him and are teaching him well. We pray for Gage and his sister to know the great love of Jesus and to continue to grow in Him. Thanks Ashley for sharing the picture with us so that we can feel closer to you guys even when we are several states apart! We love you!
