Back Road, Hanover County, VA -LMB
Psalm 25: 4-5 (NLT):
4 Show me the right path, O Lord;
point out the road for me to follow.
5 Lead me by your truth and teach me,
for you are the God who saves me.
All day long I put my hope in you.
I love traveling back roads, especially in the fall. Most days going to jury duty, I was the only one on the road; thus, I could stop my car in the middle of the road and take the picture. I really liked this shot because it reminds of the saying, “The light at the end of the tunnel.”
I’m thankful I have Jesus as my light who guides my path. Brad and I trust Him to guide us on the right path. It’s easy, especially when you have given your life in service to the Lord, to assume you are on the right path. I don’t want to assume anything, but to trust the Lord to guide us each day each step of the way.
Most of you know from our last newsletter in the Spring that we felt the Lord leading us to Spain. God has changed our course. Through various reasons, the door to Spain just did not open. We are convinced God’s wants us to serve Him here in Richmond. I have taken on more responsibilities in the office, including the internship, and Brad has taken on much more responsibilities at church. Needless to say, we are busy! Please use Psalm 25:4-5 to pray that God continues to guide our path here and that we will have wisdom to make the best choices while we serve Him at World Horizons and Mechanicsville Church of Christ.
