Ephesians 5:25-27 (ESV):
25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.
Morgan is our son-in-law. He’s married to our daughter Kathy. Today is his birthday! A Very Blessed and Happy Birthday Morgan! Yesterday, when talking to Kathy on the phone, she told me a story about Morgan that I want to share with their permission.
When we were visiting Morgan and Kathy over Labor Day, the kids were showing us the ladder that Morgan made for Kathy (in the pic above). He researched and made the ladder by himself so Kathy would have something nice on which to hang her scarves. Morgan holds a corporate job in the business industry, and both Morgan and Kathy attend Emory University. Morgan’s working on MBA and Kathy is in Physical Therapy (PT) school. Obviously, their lives are quite busy; thus, Kathy hasn’t had the time to put her scarves on the ladder. So, Morgan did it for her. He looked online to see scarf arrangements to figure out the best possible display. When Kathy told me the story, I was so touched. To me, these actions exhibit Ephesians 5. Morgan loves his wife, and we are so grateful for him! This was a story I just had to share on his birthday.
